The NZBCA is a voluntary organisation responsible for the licensing, training and development of Amateur Boxing Coaches in New Zealand. It is affiliated to Boxing NZ and is aligned to SportNZ guidelines and standards.

Coaching Course - South Auckland
The NZBCA have the following Level 1 and level 2 coaching course coming up.
Saturday 17th January 2026 (approx 9am - 5pm) - Sunday 18th January 2026 (approx 9am - 3pm)
The course will be held at the
Pacific Advance Secondary School, 42 Atkinson Ave, Otahuhu, Auckland
Course fees is $100 per coach and will need to be paid prior to attending the course
Coaches wishing to attend the course need to hold a current licence and need to register by email to matty@inspire.net.nz
Coaches attending will need to bring the following with them to the course:
- A pair of boxing gloves
- A pair of focus mitts
- Pen and paper.
Please note the following:
- The course is a two day course.
- To attend a level 1 course, you must hold a current 2025 probationary licence and have held a probationary licence for at least 1 year.
- To attend a level 2 course, you must hold a current 2025 level 1 licence and been active as a level 1 coach for at least 2 years.
